These lessons are primarily for those adult beginners with some driving experience who want to become more proficient and confident and/or learn what is expected on the road test. Typically, the student is picked up at home/work/school or a pre-determined location. Each lesson is one-on-one which allows the instructor to assess and address the student’s specific needs.
The self-paced nature of these lessons require communication between the student and instructor, a fluent understanding of the English language is required.
Students under age 17, must complete the beginner course (8 hour classroom & 6 hours in-car training) to be eligible for these lessons. South Carolina law requires 15 & 16 year old to complete a certified driver education course which includes 8 hours classroom and 6 hours behind the wheel training.
